  1. I have heard that breast feeding is a great weigh to lose weight. JUst make sure that you are eating more healthy foods. To control your hunger try lots of water, chewing gum and I've heard that mint is suppose to help control hunger.
  2. Eat foods that keep you feeling full longer. Foods with grains and fiber tend to do the job well. For exercises use your baby to help. My daughter loves it when I do my crunches and squats because I use her as a weight. Also, no sweets or fast food as those are high in fat.
  3. Not that I'm aware of. I'm a breastfeeding mom. Any time I diet my supply drops. I do exercise but then I'm hungry. I've given up til she's weaned. At least I'm not gaining. Good luck!
  4. I would forget about losing weight for now, just try to eat healthy, but wait at least until your baby is at least 1 year and don't depend on breast milk for his growth and protection of his inmune system.
  5. Do not diet while your breast feeding! Your body, and the baby, need those calories from what you eat. Eat nutricious, well balanced meals and snacks. You can exercise, that won't cause a problem. Also, make sure to drink plenty of water, that will also help to keep your milk supply up. Breast feeding burns alot of calories and will continue to help you shed those baby pounds. Just don't be in a hurry to loose the weight, it took you 9 months to gain it, it will take just as long if not longer to lose it! Good luck :)
  6. Breastfeeding is suppose to burn 500 calories a day. You can excersice all you want were you are postpardom, but it can make your milk taste different to your baby. If he/she is feeding as much as you say, then I am sure that's not a problem. Are you still taking your prenatal vitamins and continue your calorie in take as you were when you were pregnant. I am also breastfeeding any my baby is seven months, I have lost 25 pounds since she was born by walking and my ob/gyn said I could limit my calories to 1800 (most recommend 2500 for breastfeeding moms). Just try and stay healthy. If you are hungry all throught the day, do 5 small healthy meals a day. Fish and chicken, salad, whole grain breads and pastas are great. You need a lot of protein. You can do nutrition shakes and bars for snacks. Drink lots of Water!!!!! I hate drinking water, so I buy the crystal light were it flavors the water, so its like drinking Kool-aid, with out the sugar and all the calories. Also it will help chewing sugar free gum. Trick your mind into thinking your eating. BE careful on the water though, too much can actually hinder your milk supply. Try a glass each time your nurse.... Good luck!!!
  7. No it shouldn't affect you milk supply. You just need to eat more healthier foods and drink heaps of water.
