i want to lose 3 inches off of my waist?
i'm not in that great of shape, and have a small layer of fat over my stomach. i would like to lose 3 inches off of my waist and have a flat stomach by june...but i don't really have the time to work out. i eat right, for the most part - no high fat foods, no high-calorie foods, i match serving sizes, i don't drink pop,i don't eat white bread...the list goes on...i usually intake around 1,000 to 1,500 calories a day...what could i do to reach my goal? i'm really not that active right now, because i don't have time to...any advice is appreciated. thanks

- slim fast
- have surgery
- try running for at least 30 min a day......its not that much time....
- Are you male or female?
- To get rid of the flab, you have to work out. You could eat less, but I would never recommend to anyone to take in less than 1200 calories per day. Believe it or not, working out doesn't have to be time consuming. Do sit-ups for 5 minutes every other day and you'll be surprised by the results. Good luck.
- Go to your local sporting goods store and buy an ab wrap. It should be tight fiting around your waist and wear it all day. The 3 inches will lose very quickly. You can also go to a massage therapist and get an "ab wrap"
- listen don't worry about the craptacular foods that say "fat free" on them. In all honesty, im not joking, it doesn't mean fat free. it means as close to fat free as that product can get. my teacher lost 52 pounds in 4 months. His plan was lots of exercise, and his food plan was stay away from high-carb things like potatoes and rice. that should help you.
- Advice 1 : Quit wasting time posting on Yahoo and instead do some situps in the living room. Advice 2 : Join the marines. They will make a man out of you (even if you are female)
- You probably don't want to hear this or do it, but the answer is " Sit Up's". Start with 10 in the morning and 10 in the evening. Increase everyday by 2 or 3. Tighten those tummy mussels and you will be happy with the results. You can keep cutting calories but if you don't do the extras you won't get results.
- eat less, walk more
- when losing weight you cannot target a specific part of your body to lose fat from..however, if you eat the right foods you will lose weight... if you dont have time to be active, do little things like park your car further from work.. if your busy with school work take your books to the gym and put them in front of you when walking at 3.5 or 4mph... you wont even break a sweat and you can still concentrate on your school work.. actually ive found out that if your @ the gym with something else to preoccupy you (tv. music, book, magazine, homework, studying) you actually lose track of tiem and end up staying longer..if you walk for a good 2 hours you'll lose a rediculous amount of calories.. also it seems like you have a busy schedule so instead of sitting down for breakfast lunch and dinner, have it on the go.. this will save time for later on in the evening that you can use towards spending time with friends or family or working out..you'll also benefit from this b/c u wont be sitting down and eating every last drop of food... eat within an hour of waking up..a small breakfast..then 3 hours later eat a small snack (lowfat crackers, half of a peanut butter sandwhich)every 3 hours eat small snacks this keeps your metabolism going constantly, you'll never be hungry, but your eating less b/c ur spreading out less food over a long period of time instead of eating it in big chunks and digesting it all at once just to get hungry sooner...hope it helps i've always been very tiny im 18 and only 4'11'' and 103lbs now so trust me i know how hard losing weight can be..unfortunately 5 pounds on anyone else looks like 15 on me..i changed my eating patterns and habbits and lost almost 10 pounds (i used to weigh about 115, now i weigh 103 which is categorized as healthy for my height) good luck i hope all goes well!
