How to lose inches

How can I lose inches off my waist when I am on a HIGH CALORIE DIET??

I exercise; I do crunches (everyday), bike ride (3-4 times a week), walk (everyday)..My problem is I am toned everywhere even on my stomach but I have skinny legs. I would like my legs to get toner and stronger so I have been on a high calorie diet for about 10 days now. I am trying to gain 5 lbs of muscle on my legs however in doing this, I have been noticing my waist getting larger not my legs! I don't understand why. Can you help me??Thanks

  1. some people are just like that. just intake less calories and exercise more. i suggest running
  2. Don't eat so much that you gain fat. Lift heavy weights with your legs i.e. squats, lunges with dumbells in your hands, deadlifts, hamstring curls, leg extensions and calf raises. Eat at least 100 grams of protein a day and the number of calories to maintain your weight. Eating more calories than you need will just add fat all over (shows up in the belly first)
  3. To make your legs stronger, and especially to build muscle mass, you need to do specific leg exercises, such as weight training. Bike riding does count, especially if you go fast and uphill. But, you can start to do more exercises, or try to focus on your legs. What you can't do is control where you build fat in your body. So, if you tend to gain weight around your waist, that's where the fat will go. So, instead of drastically changing your diet, focus on exercising your legs, and eat what you need to - don't diet, but eat the as much as you burn with all that exercising.
