  1. drink a LOT of water, eat fruit & veggies, fish or chicken rather than red meat, and make sure to exercise!
  2. tennis. Go to a tennis court once in a while. In this heat if you go out every day you'll lose it in less than that. And diets don't work. And definitely not fast either
  3. you are still young and you need all the healthy food you can eat to enchance growth and nourishment.. what is more important right now is engaging in physical activity that you will enjoy... sports that you really like will enable you to lose those inches plus making sure you choose the once you like will enable you to commit time for it... good luck..
  4. You are still maturing. Eat three healthy meals a day. Exercise daily. No exceptions. This is a better path for your whole life. There are no quick fixes.
  5. Go vegetarian, and don't eat carbs at night.
  6. whoaaa, trigger. How long did it take to put those extra 10 inches there??? Did you answer "my whole life?" Then what on earth makes you think that they will just melt away in days or months? If you take care of yourself, you may lose that weight in a year, or two, or even longer.
  7. Well you're young so it shouldn't be hard to train your body. If you just want to lose weight around your waist and that's it I would recommend stretching, there's a lady that does Classical stretch on pbs every morning at 6. YOu'd be surprised at what stretching you muscles can do. Doing cardio is good but if you don't need lose anything but the inches around your waist I'd strength train. Doing squats, crunches, sit ups, push ups and eights which really targets the obliques.
  8. don't diet... just change the way u eat and what u eat... for example chew your food more. also i found a great way to lose weight by swearing off rice, pasta, white bread, fries and this fatty food.. eat more vegetables and meat or chicken,,, i did this and in a week i've lost 2.2 lb... that's better than nothing,, and perhaps u'll lose even more working out helps ,,, at least walking does,,, but don't use these dieting pills they could be dangerous.. and here's a tip: do NOT deprive urself,,, if u desired a cake for example eat a LITTLE piece..
  9. A good diet for a 14yr old is not to diet but to substitute unhealthy foods in your diet for healthy ones. As long as your not allergic, Eat lots of vegetables and fruit, replace white flour and sugary cereals with low fat whole grains and have some lean meat, nuts and low fat dairy. A good snack option is fat free popcorn because it's a whole grain. Be sure to eat at least 3 meals a day. You should also get away from the computer and do an activity a few times a week. You should not lose more than 1 or 2 lbs a week, sorry...it's unhealthy and you'll just put it right back on. The younger you are when you make a commitiment to be healthy the easier it is. Conversely, the longer you wait, the harder it will be.
  10. hey, okay you dont need to change what you eat, you just have to eat it in moderation...for example, if u usualy have 2 or 4 peices of pizza have just one instead.. if your going to have desert only have three bites of it.. and excersise a lot, go for a mile run every day, do 100 squats, and 100 + crunches this will help you a great deal, maybe even go out side on a trrampoline if u had one, i lost 8 pounds justjumping on my trampoline for about a half hour everyday,, do some cartwheeles also they work every single musscle in your body!! eat A TON OF PINAPPLE TOO! its a natural fat burner!!! hope i helped u!!!
  11. Before you start a diet and exercise program read the following articles: http://teenadvice.about.com/cs/bodyimage/bb/teendieting.htm http://www.webmd.com/content/article/101/106227.htm The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better: *1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF).
