How to lose inches


Anyone able to lose inches from hips?

If so, please share how you did this. I'm a pear shape and I store fat in my hips. I hope there's another girl with the same problem who has been able to fix it. My waist is 25 inches and my hips are 40 inches. That's not good. My goal is to get them to 34 inches. Everyone says it's almost impossible and I want to know for sure. Thanks for your answers.

  1. What is there to tell,all you have to do is cardio,cardio and drink lots for water.That is your best bet.Good luck to you.
  2. I was able to loose inches off my hips my doing trunk twists, crunches, and swim. Also if you have any close hiking parks to go to take a few friends along and enjoy nature while loosing weight. I am not sure if this will work for you but it worked wonders for me.
  3. I am 5'9", went from 44 inches to 37 doing spinning cycling, strength training and following a healthy lifestyle. You cannot change your body's morphology, but you can slim down problem areas like the hips. Try spinning for 6 months, take your measurements every 2 weeks and see if it works for you as it did for me.
  4. I think your goal is a bit extreme. Losing 6 inches means dropping maybe 30lb-40lb of weight and you will lose from everywhere, not just your hips. Maybe you need to realise that you do have a great figure. Being pear shaped is very healthy and your waist/hip ratio is 0.625, which is incredible. You may just have a wider pelvic structure, so try to be realistic as to what is achieveable.
