How To Lose Fats???(tummy, thigh and butt area)?

I have a 34 inch waist. I weigh AT LEAST 65kg. Height AROUND 160cm. Wanna lose the tummy and thigh fats. I'm the sporty kind of girl. Why I'm fat is because I have a BIG appetite. My main meal is rice with meat and vege(2 to 3 bowls of rice per meal). I eat lunch and dinner. Sometimes I eat breakfast. I was an asthma patient last time. But now it's better. Any exercise that I can work out to lose the fats aroung my waist and thigh? Any diet advice?

  1. i dont use the metric system(live in US) so i dont know how much is what. but after the holidays i gain a few pounds. i usually just run for 2-3 miles for about a month or two. that works great. but diets dont really work, just lay of the grease and keep running to shed a few pound or kilos, lol. last dont starve your self by avoiding a meal. when you do that you body stores fat cause it thinks that it wont get food the 3 times a day. so eat 3 times a day and enough to fill satisfied.
  2. exercise, plan a healthy diet and drink lots of plain water..
  3. start running and do yoga, good luck
  4. If you are sporty go for long walks because that is the only thing that will get rid of fat round your waist, and I am talking about 1hour walks 3 times a week for 3 months. The thighs I am not sure, but the tummy is the hardest, so if you can burn the tummy fat the thigh fat should follow (or go first) Sit-ups, crunches and other ab exersises will strengthen your abs, but only long slow exersises like walking will burn fat. Try doing some upper body strength exersises too, this does not directly affect your waist but increases your overall strenght and fitness
  5. We do not get to choose where our bodies deposit or burn fat. The only way to reduce fat is to reduce calories in and burn calories stored. You can work out those areas that are problems, but even doing that you may never lose the fat/bulge of the areas you want to. Since you had asthma, you were probably on steroids of one sort or another. That could have contributed. Since you are female, I would recommend taking the carbs out of your diet. No rice, no white bread...basically avoid white foods all together (simple carbs). The only 'white' in your diet should be milk or any complex carbs. HTH
  6. do crunchs and a stair master they will do wonders for ya
  7. Pilates...does wonders. Also try to eat breakfast every day rather then sometimes eating breakfast. Work before breakfast and after dinne. Don't eat so much meat but more vegetables and lots of fruit and water. Have you try boxing...cos I'm like around the same as you...i mean my height, weight and waist are the same...and boxing helps me.
  8. walk
  9. Hey Alicia! Sounds like you want to tone your body and really 'cut' those specific trouble spots. Pilates is a good one. or You can get an exercise ball. There are several things you can do for thighs tummy and butt with the ball. or If you commit to taking 20-30 minutes a day on crunches, reverse crunchs, side leg lifts, lunges and squats.. and another 15 minutes of slow concentrated walking really squeezing your butt for every step... you'll notice these areas will start to really shape nicely. Really isolate those muscles (look them up)! or Another idea and my personal opinion is that the BEST way to firm up those spot, is to DANCE!!! It's true, if you have the time you can join a dance class at a community centre or dance school! Hip hop dance is fun and great exercise. Also, Ballroom or Latin dancing is superb for those specfic areas and you'll be working them ALL at the same time! And it is just so fun, you wouldn't even notice how fast you're getting into shape. There is a debate on rice intake. There are people who can eat 3-4 bowls of rice and don't gain a thing and people who can eat 1 bowl or rice and gain all kinds of weight. It really depends on your metabolism, your health, the type of rice you're eating and your lifestyle. Personally, as long as your are not eating 3-4 bowls of sushi grade rice, you'll be fine! A healthy nutritious breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It is essentially what gets you started the best way at the start of your day. Also instead of having 3 bigger meals, you can try to have 3 lighter size meals and have several healthy snacks throughout the day; fruits, vegetables, low fat snacks etc. Good luck!
  10. Hi and Welcome to my club. I also struggle in this area. The best advice I can give you is to try and cut down a little on the carbohyrates - but definately not all together. Complex carbs. are good for us as they give us energy and energy is needed to burn fat especially when we work out. The best exercise I have found so far is walking, lots of brisk walking and walking up hills. It is truly amazing how this tightens the whole buttocks, and hips. For the stomach there are some good abdominal exericises you can do but walking is also good for the stomach. Try carrying some light weights when you walk, or load up a backpack and walk briskly with this. When you walk, stand very straight and try to keep your stomach muscles in. Walking burns fat, at least 30 mins/60 mins a day is only needed. Cycling is very good for the buttocks. The abdominal muscles need lots of work(I know!!) but it is achievable. Try introducing more protein into your diet(but still have carbs). Just an all round, healthy balanced diet is needed. Oh, and one more important thing, You must eat breakfast!! This will kick-start your metabolism for the day. Without breakfast, your metabolism is slow and sluggish. Try some pieces of fruit, muesli or piece of toast with vegemite or baked beans. Just a little extra hard work is needed, but it is all so achievable. Just another thing, maybe the fat is not fat around your tummy, but bloating.... just a thought..
  11. Do about 30 mins of excersise a day and keep doing it youll gradually lose weight but dont give up
  12. exercise and eat healthy vegetarian diet http://www.notmilk.com
  13. Find some low GI foods to make you feel full longer after eating. If you already excersise, then you probably do enough. Your excess weigtht is due to overeating. Cut your serving sizes in half.
  14. cut out carbohydrates,<rice, macaroni, pizza, white bread...............>go 2 fruits, green veg. and don't eat late by night ur last meal must be at least 4 hours before bed time. u must walk at least 30 min daily normal walk don't run coz of ur last condition of asthma, after that make abdomin training by fixing ur leg and raise ur bake towards ur leg at least 50 times in 5 intervals.and good luck.

  19. Have u heard of a product called Herbalife? It is a weight managment Shake! It can change ur appitete from BIG to Ideal. It is a really good prouct. After 4months i have lost 11KG's. I was 96kg and now 85kg. You could go to the website to know more!
  20. You are only just overweight, but the real issue here is your waist measurement which you should try to reduce to at least 32 inches or less for health reasons, such as reducing your risk of diabetes and heart disease. To do this, you would need to lose at least 10lb, it is up to you whether you wish to lose more. As for the rice, do you just eat white rice? Maybe try brown rice and cut down on your current 2-3 bowls per meal. Have more vegetables instead. As for exercise, you can try aerobic kickboxing which works great for the stomach and waist as well as hips, thighs and butt and gives definition to the upper body also. HTH : )
  21. all what you need is just a Little bit of exercises such as walking 40 minuets a day, and make a good program for diet .
  22. Drink lots of water, but not 2-3 hours before sleep. No eating after 7pm. Exercise, exercise and exercise! EAT BREAKFAST!! Examples of good breakfast are cereals with milk, toast and milk. Just eat healthy and eat fibre food. No eating food with a lot of calories like burgers and fries. So, hope you will suceed. You can also search the web for more information. :)
  23. Consume fewer calories than burn and exercise.
  24. well............u should lessen the amount of the rice and meat.do skipping twice every day(200 at a time)
