Lose Weight in Butt and Hips???
Ok...so I know that you can't spot reduce while working out. But I was wondering if anyone knew of a good workout that helped them lose for those areas. I think that the rest of my body is fine I would just like to drop a couple of inches in my butt and hip area. So if you know any workouts like tae bo, running, walking, biking...that helped you lose in those areas can you please tell me how long you did it and how much you lost. Thanx so much for any suggestions!

- Simple: Just don't eat!
- lunges really help tone that area if you can do like 25 every 2 hours or when youve got nothing else to do it really helps. Also dancing !
- You can tone these areas with walking. However keep in mind that while you can make yourself a smaller pear(meaning bigger on the bottom) you will always be pear. You can downsize your body shape but you cant make a pear into a ruler. Try walking it usually helps you lose from your thighs and hips first.
- lots of cardio. My friend toned her lower body by taking up kickboxing. All those repeated kicks really works your hip area.
- i run a lot, its really what i do in my sports, cross-country, track, soccer and i've found its the best excercise there is for almost all lower body muscles, even the abs too. so just run a mile or more a day and increase your speed on the same distance or lengthen the distance.
- Squats!! Those guys will tone your butt and when you get older will keep it in place instead of it gravitating to the floor. For hips, lay on your side, and lift your top leg straight up not too high and point your toes either straight or down, it'll work your outer thigh. Do about 4 reps of 8, 2 count up and 2 count down.
- Please please check out this site. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I'm already feeling a difference in my muscle tone. http://www.butthipandthighmakeover.com/?gclid=CKiUhJGZuo4CFRyXXgodHVKtxQ
- The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. If you want anymore details, feel free to email me. ~Adia PS: you can't target lose weight certain areas-i've learned that. you lost weight in certain areas by losing weight overall.
