- LA Weightloss, it is AMAZING!
- I would suggest Yoga. It's slow, and very easy to do at your own pace. Also, it will tone you to the best degree I've ever seen. Good luck and best wishes!
- atkins style diet... no exercise required... just eat chicken and red meat for two weeks... cut out the carbs, and the soda... drink water... watch your salt intake, salt makes you retain water... you'll lose about 10-15 llbs or you can try the old school 60 carbs a day diet for 2 weeks... you'll lose weight that way too and it's way safer...
- swim, swim and swim!! Swimming is a great way to burn calories and tone without stress on your knees and other joints. Start off slowly and graduallly increase your yardage as you become acclimated to your workout. Hopefully you will reach your goal safely and quickly. Don't forget to accompany your workout with healthy foods and portion management! Good luck!!
- Bad knees, go swimming! I was told I had arthritis due to an injury in my left knee when I was 21. I moved to Florida (with a transferred spouse) and was able to swim nearly every day; and no 'winter' for 7 years. The only trouble I have now is a slight weakness and I still do foot lifts: sit in a chair and pick your feet up till your knees are straight. (I moved back to the Chicago area as soon as I could. Husband followed.)
- Some people I know with bad knees tried Bikram yoga. Also, it can be helpful for people who have had knee replacement surgery. It is an hour and half class in a heated room. Helps you to sweat out a lot of toxins. You will drop some weight and you might notice your knees feel a lot better because you will strengthen the muscles around your knees.
- Try these 1) Eat 5 to 6 times a day. 2) Eat lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs (low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein.) 3) Reduce sugar intake and simple carbs. They make you hungry fast.Cut junk food . 4) Take 2 to 3 cups of low fat milk, cheese, yoghurt. 5) Swimming will have the lowest impact on your knees. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and an hour brisk walk every weekday morning. And I am still at 108 lbs since I lost 31 lbs one year ago.
