How to lose inches


help me lose inches around my thighs fast!?

I'm 5'6" to 5'7", weigh 58kg, am 18 and am a New Zealand size 8-10, which makes me about a size 6-8 in American sizes. I just have a lot of fat stored up in my thighs and they look a lot heavier than the rest of me. Any diet/ exercise help you can give me would be awesome. I need to lose quickly because it's summer here and I want to look good for the beach! :)

  5. G'day from Oz 8 - 10 is fine for your height - you've probably got a neat little figure. Please don't assist in perpetuating the myth that a size 8 - 10 is not a normal or healthy weight. Girls get curves in places like their thighs - it's all part of being a chick. Do some squats daily and get into a routine of normal exercise and it will keep your legs toned - although if you are naturally curvy in certain places it may not assist in inch loss around your thighs - so embrace those curves neighbour or invest in a sexy sarong if you are that self conscious!
  6. I would suggest ditching junk food, and loading up on ice water. As for excercise, running 1-3 miles several times a week helps tremendously and general weight training. Squats and lunges with even no weight added are also really helpful if you ensure proper form when executing them. Callanetics is another type of excercise I use to slim my legs in a pinch. Hopefully some of that helped. Good luck!
