I have to lose inches from my waist fast, please help!!?

I need to lose 2 to 3 inches from my waist so I can process into the Navy. The faster I do it, the better. I am not looking for a permanent solution, just something to get me in. Any ideas or methods would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
