Is there a quick, but relient way to lose inches fast?
I am 5'2" and weigh about 130 pounds. I am a pretty and relatively confident young woman for the most part, but there are the odd few inches on my body that I would like to lose. I am going on a cruise in February, approx: 44 days. Is this a long enough time period to shed that fat? Or am I thinking unrealistic. Thighs, stomach are the main areas (as always). Oh and does drinking water help?

- break the ruler in half. Sorry, I don't know any real answer to this question. drinking water is always good and from what i understand, it's pretty hard to get rid of thigh/stomach fat. it seems to like to move away from everywhere else first.
- u need to start doing cardio everyday if possible, don't overdo it, but strive for at least 30 minutes. if possible, do some weight training, this will help make u look more toned. as far as diet, i know its hard, but cut out desserts, chips, fast food, only drink water. eat ur fruits, vegetables, lean meats (skinless chicken and turkey, get rid of beef), lots of fiber and a good amount of protein to help build muscle. u know what foods to stay away from, u just have to make that conscience decision. the changes won't be that drastic in the time u have, but it'll help a little, especially if u build muscle and don't just burn fat. good luck!

- I have the same problem and tried one of those diets where you lose 10 pounds in three days. This works for a few days but soon l8ter you gain all the weight back so I DO NOT reccommend this. My advice would be to eat healthy such as replacing snacks and junk food with veggies and fruit, rice cakes and other low fat foods, exercising at least 3 times a week (bcuz u want to work on your thighs and stomach I would reccommend crunches, squats, and running and all other exercises that work on those muscles, and also a healthy mind. Studies show that when one has a positive, optimistic, stress-free mind, he/she is more likely to lose weight than one is negative, gloomy, sad and always down. This is what I am currently doing and so far I've lost a total of 23 pounds in one month. Remember you are beautiful no matter what and "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
