I want to lose weight this summer... Tips?

I'm 5'4" (well almost, lol, about a 1/3 inch off maybe) and 125 pounds. I want to get down to 115 or below before school starts (September) or at least in the beg. of the school year. I've decided to run at least a mile everyday. My goal mile time is 8 min. (I know I'm slow and out of shape), and I timed my mile today after taking things slow and it took me 10 min. What other exercises should I do and what should be calorie intake be? How quickly can expect to lose weight and how quickly can I expect to speed up my mile time. More than losing weight, my main goals this summer are to tone up, get fit, get healthy, and feel good about myself. (By the way I'm a total junk food eater and I'm trying to ditch the junk but its tough lol)... Any and all tips/ideas are appreciated! Thanks!

  1. i ditched the baddd junkfood habit by subsituting junk for gooood tasting fruit. u cant really overeat fruit. soon, i went so long w/o junkfood that i stopped craving it
  2. Well im asuming that your a girl so to get that tone you want, add some weight training into your workouts that have high reps and low weights so you dont bulk up. And for your losing weight, do what you have been doing by running a bunch and lifting some and EAT LESS and i guarantee that you will lose the weight you want.
  3. Your goal should not be losing weight. It should be about having a healthier body. A healthier diet makes a big difference (so stay away from the junk food!). The running gets easier as long as you stay constant and continue to run every day. Good luck!!!

I love to snack through out the day and as long as I break up my calories into the snack times, I'm good.   6. I EXERCISES EVERY DAY, AND I TRIED THE CABBAGE DIET. AND LOST 10 POUNDS IN A WEEK. YOU SHOULD TRY IT, BUT DON'T STOP EXERCISING.
