How do I lose "water weight" quickly. I need to lose about 1.5 inches in 3 days.?
I just started taking a diuretic supplement called Xpel. This is supposed to help me lose excess water weight. How much water should I be drinking while taking this? The bottle says 6-8 glasses per day, but the guy at the store told me to drink only about 40oz per day since I'm trying to lose 1.5 inches in 3 days. I have heard that you have to drink more water to lose this water weight so your body doesn't think it's being depleted of water. Please clarify what I should be doing. Thanks in advance.

- Losing water weight is actually not that difficult. But i'm not quite sure if losing water weight will make a substantial difference when it comes to losing inches. I was a wrestler in high school, and when i had to lose weight for the scales a day before a match, i used to put on about 5 sweatshirts on myself, and 2 shorts, a pair of jeans, 2 pairs of socks, and thick shoes on top of all this. Wearing these clothes i used to go out and run for atleast an hour to two hours, which reduced my weight for about 5lbs. Which was enough for me to help me with the scales at the match. But i've never known to losing inches when i lost water weight. Also, water weight comes back in a week after you lose it.
- It is true you need to drink water to lose water. Drink quite a bit. I don't know the product you are using but I wouldn't exceed 40oz. Watch out for the kidneys!!
- As a amateur bodybuilder I can say that you should do what the guy said at the store. If your trying to lose water weight then you could use Hydroxy Cut: Hardcore. From what I hear it work's really well. I would drink a glass of what a day and do a lot of cardio (running, jogging, walking on a treadmill)
