how to lose thigh fat?
I want to lose like 3 inches off of my thighs by january 3,2008. I go to a gym that has a LOT of equiptment (if that helps) tell me what I need they probably have it. I don't want to gain muscle. I just want to burn fat cause I don't want my legs to look all bulky =P I know that 3500 calories = a pound and I know that I have to have a good diet and I do. I just need to know what to do. Thank you so much in advance and tell me if you need more information!!! ohh and by the way... I'm 5'2 and I weigh between 100-110 (hehe not sure my scales broken and my mom thinks it still works=P haha ok well thank you guys soooo much!!! Have a GREAT day!! - Well, my opinion I have a california fitness mini stepper, it is like climbing stairs 30 minutes a day. Depending on how fast you go, u can lose lots of calories that way, it works everything below the waste, It has done wonders for my thighs, butt, waist. Im glad i got it, it was a good investment. I got it at wal mart for $40.
- First of all, you will gain muscle but in women you will NOT, and I repeat, you will NOT become bulky! That's only in guys!! And you will gain muscle, but muscle takes up waaaay less space than fat and those inches will shrink down, and for every pound of muscle you have you burn about 65 calories per day. So muscle goooood!
- It's not possible to shrink fat cells in isolated areas of your body naturally. When your body shrinks fat cells it happens evenly through out your body. You don't have as much muscle as you might think. If you tried a light weight resistance training program you would probably get the results you want as long as you combine that training with a cardio work out and a compatible diet program. The more muscle you have, the faster your body will shrink fat cells.
