Plastic wrap around ur waist to lose inches?
A kid in one of my classes told everyone if you put plastic wrap around your waist at night, u'll lose inches? is this true? he said cause it will make you sweat? I'm not big around my waist or stomach but i am not completely flast asd i want to be. And crunches or ab exercises dont work for me cause i've been trying for about 4 months now. anways I would like to know..? thank you guys in advance.

- all you would lose if it works like he says is water weight. In order to lose weight, keep it off, and be healthier you need to exercise not dehydrate yourself.
- you will sweat out calories, but that does not mean inches. you'd have to sweat a LOT more before that much weight comes off. the best way: cardio exercise!
- Hey Singer, A few comments. First of all, the plastic wrap idea is not a good one. If you do sweat, you're only losing water weight, and your body needs water. So, you'll either just put it right back in when you drink (which is good) or you'll be dehydrated all the time, which will make you tired and decrease any kind of sport performance. DO NOT listen to Elizabeth's comment, you do not sweat out calories. That's impossible. She should not talk about things she's not educated on. Here are some better ideas. First of all, keep doing ab exercises. It's important to have a strong core. Furthermore, if you want a good looking stomach, you have to lose the weight on top of it. Consider changing your diet and doing cardiovascular exercise too. Don't give up. Here's a great little secret! There is an exercise that will make your stomach flatter. It's called a vacuum. What you do, is suck your stomach in as much as you can and hold it. That's it. You can do this while you're sitting in class, when you're in the car, at any time! This exercise works a muscle called your transverse abdominis. When strengthened, it will tighten up and make your stomach look flatter. I've included a link below which explains the transverse abdominis. Good luck, but don't give up on exercising and eating well.
