How to lose inches


I want to lose inches rather than weight.?

I am more intrested in losing inches off my waist then losing pounds. Do you have to lose weight to lose inches. How does that work and do you think i could lose 4 inches off my waist in 3 weeks. I wouldnt mind losing weight i just wanted to lose inches more than anything..thanks

  1. if u loose weight there is less presure on your hips therefore your waist is smaller so ummm if you want a small waist you need to loose weight sorry
  2. You eat healthy and focus on the spot you want to loose the inches yes it is possible
  3. you can lose inches but i wouldnt say 4 inches in 3 weeks without losing weight. basically you can do a lot of ab workouts and other muscle toning to build muscle to "replace" the fat around your waist. of course doing sit ups doesnt equal instant fat loss, because "spot training" (google it) doesn't work. however, your torso will be tighter per say, and you'll feel like your stomach is flatter, but the best way to drop inches is to run, walk, do muscle building exercises, eat healthy, drink water, and get plenty of sleep.. if you keep it simple and do what i said, you'll be able to accomplish your goal if you really put effort into it. good luck!
  4. We cannot spot reduce so you have to use a proper fat loss program. Here is one: Eat 6 small but balanced meals per day. Your carbs should be high in fiber, your proteins should be lean, and your fats should be sparing but high in the omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. Avoid greasy foods, alcohol, and candy. Lift weights or perform power yoga. These are resistance exercises which will increase your lean mass and burn extra calories 24 hours per day. Also, some cardio helps.
