How to lose inches


I am trying to lose 10 lbs and 2 inches from my hips what exercises do you recommend?

I am 5'9 and i want to lose 10 pounds and 2 inches by october. I am already cutting out the fatty foods and drinking water i run 2 miles twice a week but i believe thats not enough.What exercises do you recommend?

  1. I actually just started a diet last sunday and I've lost 8 pounds since. All I'm doing is eating a piece of fruit for breakfast, a piece of fruit for lunch, and then either tuna, chicken, salmon... (protein), a salad, or something low calorie for dinner. I only drink water, and then as far as a workout I've been getting on the tread mill for about an hour a night. Half walking/half running. I've tried the South Beach Diet and The Atkins diet and though they both work it's hard to keep the weight off if you don't change your entire life style. So...for me this has been the best. I'm never starving and I feel better knowing that I'm doing it the healthy way.
  2. YES running is definatley good. BURNS fat,calories,and lowers cholestrol levels. all cardio exercises do that. your body WILL become more toned as your body fat gets lower. **burn MORE calories than you intake, that's the key though go to youtube and search many videos based on fitness, there are TONNES that i hope help you out. but try running 3 times a week.
