How to lose inches

lose inches fast

Why am Losing inches not weight?

I walk six miles per week. I normally am under 2000 calories (somedays Im not but most I am) per day. I dont drink soda at all, and while I indulge in lattes they are non fat with sugar free syrups. I am still at 148lb -150lbs (started at 154) but I lost 3 inches in my waist, 2 in my hips.

  1. Easy .. muscle weighs more than fat. Keep up the good work!
  2. you are losing fat but gaining muscle. muscle weighs more than fat
  3. Your are probably losing your fat, and gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Good job on losing weight though!
  4. your probably gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat, so your losing lots of fat but gaining muscle and it is maybe counteracting the weight loss. its better to be thin and weight more, than big and weigh less though, no?
  5. your losing weight but building up muscle mass. Muscle is 10% heavier than the equivilent volume of fact.
  6. you're gaining muscle
  7. It's the muscle weight, and it's good! It will also help you to burn more fat. Congrats.
  8. Be glad! You are losing inches but not weight, because you are building muscle and losing fat. Muscle is more dense than fat, and needs more energy so it feeds off the fat and as they say, turning you into a lean mean, running machine. You probably won't lose much weight, but what you lose in fat, you'll gain in muscle mass, which also keeps the fat off. Seeing as your heart is also a muscle, you've made that stronger too, which eventually increases your speed and stamina.
