How to lose inches

Losing inches but no significant changes noted on the scale?

I've started working on a regular basis since July. I even have a personal trainer. I can see a significant difference in my body and even the way my clothes fit, however, when I get on the scale I see no change in my weight or maybe I will go down a pound or two. Can someone suggest a good diet plan that I could incorporate that will help the scale reflect the inches in the downward motion? **I started working out on a regular basis**

  1. It's great that you have stuck with your exercise regimen. Keep it up! You probably need to cut your carb intake and avoid eating after 7 pm. If you keep exercising the weight will drop off.
  2. Basically it all comes down to what you put in and how much you put out. Watch your calorie intake compared to you calorie out put. If you take in 3000 calories a day and only burn 500, you probably wont lose weight. If you take in 500 and burn 3000 then that unhealthy. Try taking in you weight in thousands. For example I weigh 162lbs. I would eat 1620 calories a day. Then I would burn about 800. This has always worked for me. I eat what I want just as long as I keep it under my calorie mark.
  3. Don't worry so much about the number. You're probably gaining a lot of muscle and not seeing your weight go down. If you are seeing a difference try not to worry about it. It's working!
  4. keep working out.....muscle weight four times more than fat so right now your building up muscle and your weight is re-proportioning itself to give you a better figure. Maybe work more on calisthenics in your workouts then muscle building techniques like weight lifting.....ask your trainer for workouts that build more tonality than muscle mass
  5. You must eat a well balanced diet, skipping meals won't help you loose some inches.Try to work on high fiber diet, lesser sugar and calories. There are a lot of healthy food stores who can help you. Also, eating healthy foods does not necessarily means avoiding delicious food. Just read on the nutritional labels found in the packaging.
  6. This is happening because you are transforming fat into muscle by losing fat. Women can look great weighing heavier than they like as long as they have a low body fat percentage. Eat clean...whole wheat, meat, veggies and fat. You cannot lose fat without good healthy fat in your diet especially if you are lifting weights and doing cardio. Good luck and keep your head up.
  7. wait before you try something new if you notice results you are getting somewhere remember you will gain weight or maintain weight as you work out you lose fat and water retention but as you do you gain more muscle mass and muscle weighs more than fat keep up what you are doing as long as you are getting results also extremely overweight people lose weight faster than the smaller people do it has to do with how much body fat and how much muscle you have
  8. i guess you're building up muscle which is why there is no change in your weight.Don't worry
  9. No no, this is good. It means you are probably losing fat and gaining muscle. Go by your body fat percentage and inches loss, not your weight. Keep up the good work!
