What is the best way to lose inches off your body and tone up?

I'm trying to lose about 15 pounds and 5 inches, and i dont wanna do some stupid crash diet that will just keep me small for like a couples weeks then gain all the weight again..and im not sure exactly what to do as far as excersising, and what to eat, i wanna get my body in shape in the next couple months. Let me know what the best thing to do is, and if i do it consistently how long it would take. -Thanks-

  2. Lift weights and the changes are almost immediate if you do it right. Within two weeks you can raise your metabolism, feel alert, look tighter, and feel stronger. I'm not talking about flapping around with 5 lb dumbells going from exercise to exercise. I mean training specific bodyparts for multiple sets.

  4. if you don't have a gym membership then you can always do squats-you can keep a chair behind you so you know how low to go, but you have gradually advance to see better results like try adding weight to it later crunches-for the stomach pushups-and add weight on your back later but not too much to hurt yourself and you can vary the space between your hands (closer together or farr apart) if you have stairs you can run up and down them or step up and down and add extra weight with cans or something

  6. FOOD & DRINKS are the two most important factors that affect weight, excercising is just an aid to tone or build your muscles and lose a few inches. AVOID: -all fast food -everything fried -all soda, even diet -anything that contains the word HYDROGENATED on the label -foods with HIGH GLUCOSE CORN SYRUP -most candy/chocolate -white breads and rice -alcohol -margarine -sugars -caffeine HAVE: -organic foods, vegetables, fruits, non-fat milk, etc -organic chocolate, cookies, & so many snacks -lots of water -none-sugary, all-natural drinks/juices -brown breads and rice (preferably organic) -lots of protein from food to feel full longer (poultry, fish, meats, soy) -herbal teas Rather than change your diet temporarily, change it for good, and don't ever worry about gaining weight since your body can easily burn off calories from natural foods with little to no exercise. And to tone-up: aerobics; running; 3-5 repititions of light weights 3 times a week; swimming; spinning; and any sport!
