How to lose inches

lose inches fast

How am I supposed to lose inches from my thighs and hips?

I want to lose 3 inches by the end of this month from my thighs and hip. Each thigh is 27 in. and my hip is 46 in. I don't want to lose weight cause it never worked with me, so would I be able to lose inches around there?

  1. I guess my best answer is.............. use a treadmill to burn off fat, or do up to 100 to 150 jumping jacks everyday. Hopefully, I am right.
  2. Susie is right, but you should add strength training too. Check out sagelectrostim.com. The device will get those muscles burning the fat away, that and the aerobics and you will be able to hit your goal.
  3. Unfortunately, you will have to just lose weight all over..... by dieting or whatever. It's been proving over and over again that a person can't "spot reduce"... that term means, you can't lose weight in one certain spot.
  4. That's a lot of inches, and as you've heard some people say, you can't "spot reduce". The fact is, weight loss is the best way to reduce those areas, but great, intense exercise of your hips and thighs will tone them, put in strong muscle and they will look better, the added muscle will up your metabolism and make it easier to lose some inches in those areas. I've had fat thighs and hips my whole life, and really even 5 lbs makes a difference in those areas. That being said, I started TaeKwondo several months ago, and at 47 years old and a zillion types of tried exercise and work-outs over the years my butt is higher and more toned than ever before and my legs look butter. I have not actually lost inches, and I'm even slightly heavier because I've been eating more. There is so much high kicking in Karate that it really made a difference in that area for me; scr*w the weight machines and such; this worked the best for me. Buy a kick-boxing video; it will have the same stuff. Exercise is your only alternative; and it has to be intense, intense, intense. You may even lose a few pounds and it may not come off of your boobs this time (or wherever). Or, in the extreme...there's liposuction which will take the fat cells off those areas and they'll never come back. Good luck!
  5. The best work out for your thighs and hips is to use the abductor and adductor machines generally found at the gym. There is also one out by Jake called Body by Jake hip and thigh sculptor for $200 at JC Penny. It strengthens and elongates the hip and thigh muscles giving a slimmer and sleeker thighs. Trying to lose a few pounds may make your slimmer thighs and hips a bit more noticeable too.
