- good question I hope so because I a doing the same thing and need to know I just had a baby a 6 months ago need to lose my belly fat.
- Neither running nor walking will take inches off your waist. It does help some but you will have to do crunches also. I am a life time exerciser and dieter. The only thing that really reduces your stomach and belly is to lay off grains. I know most people do not want to hear this but if you try it you will find out that it does. It means you can never again eat breads, cookies, pies, or drink beer. You have to leave alone anything made with yeast and grains.
- yes, of course. when you lose weight you lose it everywhere!! you cannot spot reduce!!!
- i think it will because you'll be wearing a diffrent size of pants
- I guess that would all depend on how much you lost? Surely if you lost say, ten pounds or more, you would lose inches off your waist.
- Any exercise will tone your muscles and burn calories. It should be an all over loss. Work all those muscles a bit more in the area you want to reduce more.
- Jogging should help with losing weight from your midsection because it is cardio work. However, it also depends on your genetics. Some people lose weight from their midsection while others lose weight in their backside area.
- Yes running does that, look at all those running athletes they have a very flat belly. Still Jogging is not healthy and it's proving that when doing too much it's very bad for the heart condition.
- It might, but then again, it might not. Just in case, you should do abdominal exercises, to build up muscle, instead of fat. (But, if you eat junk, fat will build up) Also, muscle can sometimes weigh more than fat, but it takes up less space... Or at least that's how it is on me...
- ya!
