How to lose inches

Inches vs. pounds?

I am wondering the comparison of pounds to inches. I know it probably varries from person to person, and that it depends on where the weight is actually being lost from. I am not so much worried about how many pounds I weigh or lose as apposed to how many inches my stomach is and how many inches I lose. Like how they say you can lose 5 pounds in about two weeks... so, how do inches compare to weight when measuring how long it will take to get to a goal measurement?

  1. as a rule of thumb, 10lbs = 1" off your waist
  2. Well, it's hard to just measure one area while losing weight since you're losing fat all over your body, not in one specific area. I suppose you could just exercise until you're satisfied with you're stomach, and develop your ab muscles if you want some ab development.
