Burning fat and inches without losing pounds and muscle?
I started at a weight of 205 pounds, during the past month I have lost about 12 pounds (diet and excersise). I began limiting carbs as much as possible. Then weaned them back while adding strength training (pushups ect.), and light cardio (walking)(total workout time of 30 minutes, 4-5 days a week) The past two weeks I have implemented weights, replacing the pushups and various excercises I once did. I have also upgraded the walk to a jog.(total workout time 30-45 minutes, 5-6 days a week) I have noticed improvements in body tone. My midsection has been reduced but still not where I want it to be (which is the reason I began this in the first place). During the whole month I have consumed about 115g of protein a day and plenty of vitamins. I would like to continue to shed the fat, but not lose too much more weight and muscle. Should I adjust my routine or diet?

- Yeah. You're gonna have to start focusing a little more on your weight-lifting. In order to preserve your body weight while still losing fat, you need to focus on building your muscles (which will also help you lose fat). Up your protein intake to about 190g/day and start lifting heavier weights. Your cardio should only be light jogging/brisk walking 4 or 5 times a week (and preferably kept separate from your weight-lifting - in other words: don't do your cardio just before weight-lifting) Try this for about 3 months and you'll start to notice the inches come off, without losing any body mass.
- Eat only when hungry. Eat not more than three times a day unless u r diabetic. Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.
