losing weight and inches but still have big belly and looks to be getting bigger. How?
I eat 5-6 small meals a day, i walk to and from work. I work out with a baIance ball. eat lots of fruits and vegetables and lean meat and a lot of dairy. I also eat protein bars and drink that special k protein water. I stopped eating anything with high fructose corn syrup or partially hydrogenated oil. My pants are starting to become really loose. my shirts feel looser. I lost 15 pounds last month. I can feel my ribs and obliques and pelvic bones more than i did before. But my belly seems to feel the same and sometimes looks bigger. I thought us men had a faster metabolism.

- Have a look at my workout plan that targets your tummy. Try to do strength training 3 times a week (E.g. Mon, Wed & Fri) and then on the other days do Interval Training (E.g. Tue, Thu & Sat). Your goal should be to build up muscle mass as 1 pound of muscle will help you burn off an extra 50 calories per day. Check out my workout plan: http://disciplineorregret.wordpress.com I have to lose 82 lbs and I am, it's finally working! Take care, Andrew
- Mabye just run like 2 miles(I know it's hard but if you only run 1 it does nothing) or run up the stairs up and down 20 times
- the gut is the hardest to loose for both men and women. Guys do metabolise differently but not necessarily faster. Have you taken a tape measure to your waist? you might be thinner but look the same in the mirror if you are loosing everything proportionally. Its also possible that you are gaining lean abdominal muscle but you still have a gut over it. Don't give up, you'll get there. try doing some focused ab exercises. Also take it easy on those protein bars. They can still have sugar and calories and other scary stuff in them.
- Well your off to a great start your starting to eat healthier, but are you working out? Working out without proper nutrition is almost worthless, and while eating healthy is a great start working out should be part of your routine as well. The problem with the special k protein water actually lacks in nutrition compared to other vitamin waters. Honestly, you would be better off taking a vitamin supplement and just drinking water. Not to mention its cheaper. I personally take Mega Men Sports and its only around 10 dollars a month. Also, dairy products can have a lot of fat in them as well. While its important to take some dairy but not to much. A glass of milk with breakfast and then water with the rest of the day would be better off. If you take a vitamin supplement would insure that you get a lot of the vitamins from milk. As for the reason your gut looks bigger probably because its not getting worked out as much as the rest of your body. Add more crunches and ab workouts to your daily routine and eat right and you'll get rid of it in no time. Good Luck
