  1. Maybe its because you are the right size right now. If you are working out like you say, you might have muscle mass and not fat. Continuing the same workout will not make muscle go away. You sound pretty well propoprtioned to me, why do you want to lose more inches?
  2. Because your at the perfect weight and probably size for your height. What is wrong with you? I mean what is left to try to lose???
  3. The first thing you don't want to do is change your workout. Keep the same workout, but just up the weight a little gradually. It sounds like the problem may lie more on your diet than your actual workout. How do you eat? Do you take in alot of calories? If so you need to watch your calorie intake. You also want to make sure that you are not eating alot of Saturated Fat in foods, and not taking in TOO MUCH protein as excess protein is stored as fat. It does take a very long time to dramatically lose weight, but it sounds liek the problem is with your diet.
  4. What intensity are you doing in your workouts? If you don't change it up or at least make your workouts more difficult as you get better at them, your body becomes super-efficient and learns to do the movements without expending as many calories. It's an evolutionary advantage we developed, but it doesn't help much with fitness ;) I would try changing things up a bit...ramp up the intensity, try interval training, or integrate other cardio, like rowing machines or biking. The other thing is that your weight and measurements are very healthy, so it's going to be difficult to push your weight down healthfully. To be honest, if you lost weight, it would probably be muscle weight, which would lower your metabolism and cause you to gain weight back and then some!
  5. it sounds like you need to change your workout.
  6. Try switching your time and intensity. Stay on the treadmill for a longer and try walking on an incline and/or increasing your speed. You may have to increase speed and the degree of the incline on a gradual basis. I do a straight hour of cardio everyday and its all on the treadmill. You will definitely notice an increase in the amount of calories you burn when walking on a steep incline.
  7. Hi,its quite normal that your weight is plateau despite exercising regularly. The intensity of your exercise and your diet might be the reason why you havent been losing anymore weight. If not you might have reached a state where your body cant lose anymore weight because you have nothing to lose. judging from your weight and height you should be very slim. You do not need to lose anymore weight, you should just maintain it.Losing weight is easy but maintaining it is even harder so its a good thing you were able to maintain it.keep it up:)
