- You have toned up and increased your muscle mass. The muscle weighs more than fat.
- It is GOOD that you are losing inches and not weight. This way you know you are burning fat and gaining muscle. Sure, you may not be losing as much as you want, but you ARE losing fat. Actually try upping your calories to 1200-1400 (less than 1200 is dangerous and can inhibit weight loss). Note, though, that muscle weighs more than fat, so you are LOSING more fat than you are gaining muscle. Be happy with your current losses (which are pretty good, a full dress size at least), you are doing a good job. Just eat a little more :)
- SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE INCREASED MUSCLE MASS. ITLL SEEM LIKE YOU HAVENT LOSSED WEIGHT BECAUSE MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT. BUT IF YOU'VE LOST INCHES AND HAVE BEEN DOING ALL THAT FOR 8 WEEKS, THEN YOU HAVE LOST FAT, AND THATS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! ****GOOD LUCK!
- Yes, those reuslts are good! You have converted fat to muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. I agree with Lacey. Eating less than 1200 cal per day is dangerous and can actually slow down your weight loss, by slowing your metabolism. Unless you sit at a desk a lot during the day and are 4'9" thru 4"11" tall. 1100 cal per day might be OK in that case. In the coming 4 weeks you also might want to consider a more varied fitness program like Crossfit, and drinking at least 8 to 10 glasses of water per day. And if you haven't eliminated all alcohol and all sugar calories from your diet, I recommend doing so.
