How to lose inches


Will I lose weight drinking four bottles of water a day and three apples a day?

Im also having special k cereal,special k snack bars,salad,100 calorie packs,and 2 plates of fruit a day also.Totaling about 1100 calories a day.Im 15 years old.125 pounds.5 feet 4 inches.If this isnt a good way,what are other successful ways to lose weight?Please dont respond saying I dont need to lose weight because I do.Please do answer my question.Thanks.

  1. Yes, this is a very healthy way for you to diet. But you might also include an exercise program, even if it's just walking. They say you need to burn off more calories than you take in, if you want to lose weight.

  4. Yes, you will most likely lose weight. Water weight that is unless you plan on taking this farther, for more than 2 weeks or so, which will cause your metabolism to completely slow down and then you'll gain weight eating a regular ham sandwich. Trust me, I tried. Diets like that over the course of two years on and off have caused me to become Anemic, serious stuff. You might say, 'Ooh but it's only until I lose so and so amount of weight.' But that's not true. You'll start getting highs of weight loss even though you'll know it's all water, you'll still be in denial. You might develop a nutrient deficiency, which will cause all sorts of medical problems. You most likely will become Anorexic or Bulimic. Seeing that you're only 125 at 5'4" which is a pretty average, even on the LOW average side of weight for your height, you're on your way babe. So yes, you will lose weight--- but you will not only lose weight-- you will lose your health and eventually your mind. Good luck, I hope you realize that HEALTHY eating and EXCERSIZE (running, if you're really in a hurry to lose weight, several miles a day) is the only way to go. It worked for me.
  5. That is a dangerous diet. You are not eating enough protein. Protein builds muscle, and your heart is a muscle. And you are not severley overweight. Crash dieting like this is a very bad idea. When you crash diet, your body changes the way it digests food. It becomes more efficient. So when you go back to normal eating, you are good at absorbing calories and put on weight easier. You need to learn about good nutrition and concentrate on eating well. Ditch the crash diet. Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, potatoes, pasta and rice. Eat a couple of eggs, some chicken without the skin or some fish, yoghurt or cottage cheese,and use extra virgin olive oil and pure butter. You need that every day. Watch how much fat and sugar you eat. Cut right down on chocolate, biscuits, crisps and that sort of thing. So for example, for breakfast you could have cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurt. Midday egg mayonnaise or chicken salad or chicken and coleslaw sandwiches. For dinner potato salad or rice, broccoli, fish or chicken or omelette.

  10. This diet is dangerously lacking in PROTEIN. It sounds fairly healthy and nutritious otherwise, but without enough protein, your body will slowly "eat up" its own muscles -- not a good thing. Along with losing muscle mass in your arms and legs, you even stand the possibility of damaging your HEART muscle! Also, according to the Body Mass Index (BMI) charts, your number is 21.5, which is totally within the NORMAL/HEALTHY range. :) If you really still think you need to lose weight, please don't lose more than 15 pounds. Otherwise you WILL be underweight, and being underweight carries its own set of health risks. I know, because I'm close to being underweight myself, due to a situation with my metabolism.
  11. You need to STOP eating special K and 100 calorie packs first of all. Those are the bad carbs that turn to sugar and then turn to fat. You need to eat fruits, veggies, as much water as you can and whole grains. The water will help your body metabolize fat faster!
