  3. NO! There is no such thing as 'spot reduction' which is, as you are referring to, losing body fat off of a specific spot on your body. It may be vigorous enough exercise for you to burn calories over a period of time, but your body decides for itself where to take the weight off. This has been proven by people who do spot specific exercises; say a tennis player who is right handed.... maybe his right arm is more muscular than his left, but there is no less fat on it when measured and compared to his left arm. Even sit ups do not burn fat off your abdomen--they just build the muscles there. If you are not lean, these muscles will not show through and all the sit ups you do will leave you with flabby-looking abs--sorry :)
