Lose Weight?
I've just turned 18 and I really want to lose weight, i'm so unhappy with my body and have been for ages, now i want to do something about it, i'm not obese or really fat, everyone says im being stupid but if people dont like their bodies then its up to them. Wondered if anyone knew some good, quick ways of losing weight as well as eating healtily and going to the gym. Does the salt water things work?

- Not sure what you mean about the salt water thing....first of all avoid salt as much as you can....that will only make you feel big because salt bloats you. If you want to lose weight just omit soda from your diet and any juice drinks....they are loaded wih sugar....look at the back of a can of soda or a container of orange juice...the sugar is crazy! Also if you dont like to exercise...workout 10 minutes a day..3 times a day....its fast workouts but effective because you are still getting the daily 30 minutes you need. Good luck!
- There aren't really any "tricks" that are healthy. If you eat healthy and exercise that should be enough. Make sure you eat breakfast everyday. I know it sounds stupid. But if you skip a meal, the next time you eat a meal; that food is stored as fat. If you eat small meals through out the day, this should speed up your metabolism. If you need to lose weight, the key to that is burning more calories in a day than you're in- taking. also building lean muscle will keep you thin. So make sure you're toning up. Muscle will burn m more calories. So if you have 20 lbs of muscle that was converted from fat, you can burn 100 more calories just by standing around.

- If you need to lose at least 20 pounds, you may want to try Medifast. I just started the plan about a month ago. You eat five Medifast meals a day and one meal consisting of lean protein and vegetables. There are oatmeals, puddings, soups, shakes, and bars, for example. I have enjoyed most of the meals, and have lost weight. After a couple days I wasn't hungry in-between meals. You may want to take a look at Medifast before decide on a weightloss program. Good luck!
- I feel ya, all women no matter what size they are feel they want to lose weight. My best friend is like 5'7 at 125 and thinks she could stand to lose a few. I myself have lost 30 pounds so far and I'm still going strong. Heres what I do: I eat constantly. By this i mean i eat like 6 sometimes 7 times a day. the more times you eat the less you will eat each time. But i eat till im full. Most everything i eat is fat free, low fat, and i drink diet sodas. I drink a lot of water and orange juice as well. oranges and orange juice are good for you since the acid eats the fat off the food you eat. I don't cut out fatten food completely because then it will fell like a diet and they never work. I tell peeps all the time, don't diet just have a healthy diet. - Many times only exercise don't help much. Along with exercises you have to control your diet. You can go through my advice as follows for 1 week and result will be on 9th day. Monday - No breakfast Tuesday - No lunch Thursday - no dinner Saturday - total fasting, only water and apple / lemon juice/ fruits Sunday - only water. In addition you have to do yoga as per advice of Ramdevji available through Internet. You can search the websites of Ramdevji and from that you can see the techniques of 3 types of breathing technique exercises of yoga. 1st is Pranayam: Inhale and exhales slowly. 2nd is kapalbhati : Exhale 30 times automatically u will inhale. Try to throw out the air inside you. 3rd is bhrami : close ur eyes and ears with the help of hands and inhale and exhale (breathe) slowly. In all the above exercises you should not breathe with help of mouth. Mouth should be closed. Salt water technique I do not know but may be it will increase your B.P. (Blood Pressure) instead you can take lemon water which helps to reduce fats as lemon water is a good solvent for fat.
