What is the best exercise to lose inches in your thighs?
I am 5'3" and weigh 115, but my thighs keep getting bigger and bigger. My New Years resolution is to get my thighs in better shape. I need an excersie I can do.

- Squats, lunges, and plies.
- Do a lot of walking at least 3 miles a day and stay away from soda and diet soda
- Sounds like running is the thing for you.
- Suzanne was right--it's thighmaster
- First of all, spot reducing is a myth. You can do exercises to build up muscles in specific body areas, but you can't lose fat in one area only. As a rule, you lose weight in the extremities first, while fat nearer the core is harder to lose. For most women, this means fat around the hips, butt and thighs is the last to go. So what you need to do is start a good all-around exercise plan, along with a sensible diet. Cardio exercise is very good for all-over fat burning, and weight training is a big help too. You won't bulk up from the muscles, but muscle mass burns a lot of calories to maintain itself. Yoga and pilates are both really good for toning, which gives you a sleeker appearance.
- Iam about the same height and i know how it is to have most of the weight on the thighs. Since i have been doing running and cycling i have lost weight and toned up. The best work out is doing spinning, it is pretty intense..... but it will do the job. You will feel so happy and healthy after each class. Good luck
