How to lose inches


how can i lose inches off my arms, thighs and waist??

im somewhat overweight and i want to tone up and also lose some inches in those areas. I know i should diet and exercise but with excerising i dont want to build more muscle...i want everything to be slimmer and toned...any ideas?? Thanks everyone!!!

  1. Cut down on your carbs and fat in your diet. Do light weight lifting for tone, strength and stamina and cardio to burn calories and get fit.
  2. High reps with low weight. Some yoga or palates would be good as well.
  3. Stick with Cardio workouts. (Running, Aerobics) taht kind of thing. it will give you all over weight loss and toneing. Avoid Target Exercise.. no crunches.. or weights, or things of that sort. Also, make sure that you burn more caloreis than you take in. :)
  4. My newyears resolution was to get fit, healthier, and to lose inches off my thighs and waist. I downloaded the beep test off the internet, and now i run it everyday in the 20m corridor of my house, and each day i find im improving, and I find im getting pretty good results. I went from a level 5, to a level 8.6, in the space of five days, two of which were break days, so only three real solid days. And in a week, with healthier eating, and having a vegie and fruit juice in the mornings with 2 weetbix with honey ive lost almost three kilos, and I feel like I'm looking happier, and I feel great! I lift foodcans that i sticky taped together when im watching tv, and i sit and play on an exercise gym ball when im on the computer or when the couch is taken over too.   5. FIRST -- Eat only enough and things you know not to put on weight You know what they are and are not. Get outside and do 30 minute walks..add 5 minutes every two weeks Remember they sell $1,000 treadmills so why not use one you have that is free. Do not walk like you are out for a stroll in the park on a nice day in may After 2 minutes of walking pick up the pace just to where you have to breath though your mouth to get enough air Do this for 50 steps slow down to just the point where you can breath with your mouth closed for 50 steps And do the first 50 steps again back and forth back and forth do this and you will be on the road to burning your fat away Remember fat is stored so a bear can go all winter with nothing to eat it is energy food that is put away for latter usage so when you walk at a pace like this you will be calling on those storages to help out to make the walk.
  6. In 2007 I lost about 12 inches of fat ( flab ) in 6 weeks, taking several short brisk walks a day. In 12 weeks time, my arms were nice and toned, as well as my legs. My tummy fat was gone and I had my curves back! Brisk walking burned off most of the calories I ate. ( With the emphasis on BRISK. ) I highly recommend walking, as well as eating more fruits and vegetables. Avoid red meat, and eats lots of fish! Drink 8 glasses of water a day at least.
