I have never been a 10. I am a size 10 but would like to b a 6.?
There are different ways to exercise to get the body you want. Different diets out there that will help but how do I know I'm on the right diet & exercising the way I'm supposed to in order to creat the body I want to have. I have always struggled with my weight but never put my mind to get into shape. I can't afford to go to the gym or much else. I would really like to start taking care of myself in a way that I achieve the results I want but just don't know how to do it while in a low budget. I'm eating as healthy as I possibly can & have begun to exercise. I feel like I've lost inches off my waist but I still weight the same. Trying to keep myself on track is harder than I expected. I would like to be in the body I want but don't want to get discouraged. What do you recommend?

- That doesn't make sense. You have "never" been a size 10, but you are a 10 now? There is nothing at all wrong with being a size 10. A size 6 is going to be way too thin. Don't be a slave to the scale. Just keep doing what you are doing and you'll see the difference.
- play basketball run a couple laps it worked for me
- be happy with who you are!! If you are unhappy with your body, just continue to eat right and start taking walks in the evening or afternoon. You'd be amazed at how much weight you can lose just by doing that!! Good Luck!
- It would be best to keep yourself motivated to exercise regularly, running or stretching are good ways. Keeping yourself in motion, is the key to losing weight.
- I have always had a problem sticking to a diet. I am also very impatient and eat too fast. So, I found that when I eat, if I drink water between every bite, that I get full and don't go back for seconds, and it gives my brain a chance to tell my stomach that I am full. They say it takes 15 minutes for your brain to know you are full. Also I heard we should be walking about 10,000 steps to lose weight, so get a pedometer, they are really cheap...I got one at wal-mart for under $6.
- It sounds like you're on the right track. A couple of suggestions for keeping up the good work: 1. Get a buddy! Having someone else to keep you accountable really helps. 2. Keep a fitness/food diary. When you're feeling discouraged, look back through the diary and remember how good you felt when you exercised, and how far you've come. 3. Give yourself rewards. Maybe, if you exercise 5 days in one week, you can buy a new piece of jewelry, or go out to a movie. Keep it small, but enough to make you feel like you're getting something tangible. 4. Allow yourself treats in moderation. 5. Put some pictures up that are what you're trying to attain. Be reasonable! Put them somewhere, like the bathroom mirror, where you'll see them. As you make progress, put pictures of yourself up next to them. It's hard work, but worth it - good luck!!
- You can start by doing a little homework. Find out if your diet is as healthy as you think it is. See how many calories you're consuming. Then evaluate. If you find out that it is good and your calories are 1200 per day and you're not loosing then cut back just a little on everything. Keep your food groups the same. Have you given up all sweets and how about non-diet sodas/drinks..they'll kill any of the good you've done. And, don't think just cause you exercise you can eat snack foods. Did you know you have to walk for 30 min. to get rid of 1 donut? What kind of exercise have you started? Don't make it so hard you avoid doing it. That's why walking is so good. Free and easy. You could get a pedometer and see how far you're walking each day but make sure you only measure when you're walking to work out not around the house. Plus, it doesn't sound like you are over-weight. It sounds like you just want to trim yourself down. That's a gradual process. It will not happen over night. The best way is really to make healthy eating choices. Go for broiled rather than fried.....Eat fresh fruit rather than canned...if you must snack limit yourself to 100 calories per day. There are snack food packages that they're selling with just 100 calories. It's easy to keep track. ALways eat sitting at a table not when you're doing other things. Remember it takes 20 minutes to register that you've eaten and start feeling full. But most importantly you should drink 8 glasses of water a day. That will make the biggest difference in your weight. It will flush your system and fill you up. Finally, don't set yourself up to fail. Be realistic about your goals and your ability to achieve them. You don't have to be a size "6" to look and feel good. Just be healthy the rest falls into place. Good Luck
