How to lose inches

How can I lose inches off of my waist pronto?

I am totally satisfied with the rest of body, however I've recently gained a tad bit more in my waist area and it so hard to get rid of. I wanted to trim it down before graduation in about 1 month and a half.

  1. You may want to do exercises that target the abdominals and obliques.
  2. stop eating
  3. exercise...or wear a girdle =]
  4. go workout at a gym or do plenty of exercises that work the abs!
  5. Whole grain diet. no white bread, butter, oil. smaller portions. Go to discoverychannel.com and check out their diet. lost 23 pounds in one month and kept it off! one dannon light and fit yogurt a day also really does help burn the fat. and if you must have chips or a snack, stick to baked chips or whole wheat pretzels
  6. get into an exercise class, lay off carbs such as pasta and breads (because these types of foods tend to go to your waist) and other greasy foods, absolutly no fast food not even salads unless you like them w/o dressing .diet pops are okay, drink lots of water. jog on the track
  7. How about trying a 2 weeks (plain wheat) cereal diet. I think it's in the advert on t.v. 2 bowls of cereal as your 2 meals for 2 weeks and you'll lose inches of your waist. I tried it and think it's effective.
  8. just do side crunches. My waist is naturally small but I do side crunches to make sure it stays that way!
  9. Try eating foods which remove the gas from your lower tummy area plus also try pilates or yoga these are low impact but effective workouts. good luck:)
  10. well there are lot many ways. the mass around ur belly is pure fat. in order to conqer it u will have to exercise. 1) do cardiovascular exercises like swimming(1hrs),jogging(15min),well i will not suggest u cycling because it is more of a thigh workout. 2) do ab crunches. but that is not going to solve out the problem thuroughly. coz that will add only a muscle tone. note: cardio exercise is the best way. and dont try to do dieting or stop eating food. instead TRY TO ELIMINATE BUTTER ,FAT AND FRIED, OILY FOOD. also drink atleast 2 glasses 500ml of water in the morning daily. best of luck!
  11. 1. Contrary to what some people think, you cannot target just one single area to lose weight. If you don't believe me, just ask a professional. 2. If you start to lose weight on your body, your waist will naturally follow. 3. The BEST method for losing weight is very simple: proper dieting and exercise. Diet - Limit your junk carbs like sugar, cookies, soda, etc. Keep the saturated fat intake on the low side. Limit the deep fried junk foods like french fries, chips, burgers, etc. Up your intake of good carbs like fruits and veggies. Keep saturated fats on the moderately low side. Limit your processed food intake, like "hydrogenated" products. Exercise - Do at least half hour of aerobic exercise 4 times per week. Believe it or not, anaroebic exercise such as weight training will also burn fat, especially if done just before your aerobic exercise because it burns up your glycogen, which fuels muscle AND prepares your body to burn off fat once you start your aerobic exercise.
  12. OK, woman to woman, if u want to lose the weight & KEEP IT OFF (which is the most important) of course u have to exercise & eat right BUT water is the key...drinking the 8 glasses a day is not enough, atleast it isnt for me...I drink 24oz of bottles of water every hour almost. Not only does water flush out your system but it also gives you energy without harmful pills. Also You may want to eat lots of chicken & fish... you can have bread as carbs but not to much. The misconception about weight loss (especially for women) is to skip meals or not eat BUT in doing so you actually do more harm than good, because your body will store the fat rather than release it. If you really want to lose weight you have to eat. I eat 5 times a day & I am in perfect shape for my height, age & body type (5'9, early 20's & 145lbs). Just drink your water, do some cardio, focus on your problem area (so do crunches) and dont 4get to eat. If you starve yourself the only thing you lose is your mind. OH! & limit your quantities...when your body says u are full, listen to it & dont over induldge... (EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT BUT THIS MAY WORK FOR YOU) My Daily Food schedule includes: BREAKFAST is - 1 serving oat, wheat or bran cereal - 1 medium orange or apple - 1 cup skim milk over my cereal (tastes the same as regular milk to me) - 1 whole wheat piece of toast (dry) LUNCH is - 1 entree of whatever I want (limited portions) - 1 medu=ium orange or apple - a spinach salad with non fat dressing & 1 egg for protein THE AFTERNOON SNACK is - an orange or apple DINNER is - 1 entree of whatever I want (limited portions) - 2 cups of fresh veggies - spinach salad with non fat dressing & 1 egg for protein Dessert -1 small serving of whatever I want AND TONS OF WATER THROUGH OUT THE DAY!!! I personally drink over 12 to 13, 24oz bottles of water throughout my normal day because it makes u feel better after u get used to it plus ur not "clogged up". Anyway, I hope I could be of some help to you & I hope you lose those unwanted pounds & keep them off...& BTW, STAY AWAY FROM FAD DIETS!!! THEY NEVER WORK!!!
