How many calories should I be eating to lose inches? I am 5'7" and 150lbs. I do 45 minutes of cardio and 30 mintues of stregth training, 4 times a week. How many calories should I be eating a day to lose inches?
How can I lose inches off my waist? I was trying to eat healthy to lose inches off my waist lately, but today, I just couldn't help it... I ate 400 calories worth of chocolate and cookies... I lost an inch off my waist from the beginning, and now it's back to what it used to be... 26 inches. And, yesterday, I just went to a birthday party and had lots of food and cake... I don't weight that much, I'm only like 96 lbs, but I have this big fat waist and I'm only 5'3''. I don't know what to do now, I just can't fit time for exercising, because I have so much school work. And, there's all this junk food laying around the house... chocolate, and lots of it. What should I do to lose inches off my waist? I'm only 15, so will I always be this fat?

Could you lose weight eating one 6 inch wheat subway sandwhich a day? i would eat a piece of fruit and water for breakfast, and eat half of a 6 inch subway sub, for lunch and the other half for dinner with lots of water? could you lose weight this way or would the bread keep weight on? keeping in mind that i would be doing daily cardio...and light weights to tone.. i'm also only 4'10 just so no one thinks this amount of food is outrageous.

Want to lose inches.Am i doing the right thing?PLEASE HELP!? Hey! Ok, so i lost some weight by eating healthy and walking/jogging. I lost about 7kg and my weight now is about 47kg (103lbs) and 1.58 (5'2) I'm 14! I went to a nutritionist and told me that my metabolism is now very slow (only burns 1134) probably because my portions were too small. So now i have to eat more to make it healthy again. But i still need to lose some inches from love handles and hips..=/ They're flabby. So how much should i walk and jog to do it? Can i do it if I'm eating more now? I seem to be gaining some weight i think...even if the food is still healthy. Does anyone know how to lose inches in butt, hips and thighs? Im working at becoming a model, and overall I eat pretty healthy and have a normal matabolism, but I find that the only thing keeping me back from becoming a model is that I need to lose 3 inches in my butt and 2 in my hips and basically tone. Does anyone know foods not to eat, or foods to eat to help also any exercises or things to try? Please help me, I need help and I need to lose this within the next 2 months or so! Oh and I dont want to hear any "you need to become a vegetarian or eat organic foods" comments. how can someone lose inches in the waist fast? My husband is in the army and has allowed himself to go a little. He's been running, eating around 1000 calories a day, and during hundred of situps, pushups, and crunches. He's lost about 25lbs in less than two months. He's done great. The problem is his commanding officer demands that he meets army regulation by end of next week. They base regulation standards by inches. He needs to lose 3 inches in his waist in about 7 days. He's taking hydroxcut and working out about 2hrs a day, and he's losing weight but not inches. At this point he'll try anything. Does anyone know any way to do this?

Lose inches in thighs? I'm trying to eat healthier and lose weight, I'm only 15, but I joined the Curves gym w/ my mom. I was just wondering if there was a SIMPLE exercise I could do at home (almost like situps, that simple, just for my thighs). how to lose 3 inches of belly fat? what else can i do? I started a vigorous workout and healthy eating plan on January 2ond to lose 3 inches of fat in my lower stomach. As of today, I have lost 1 inch in my arms and legs, and 1/2 inch in my upper abdominal- so I must be doing SOMETHING right- however, I did not lose anything in my lower stomach (which is the area I have been targeting!). this summer I was 3 inches smaller in my lower stomach area, and everyone has been noticing the recent gain, so I am trying to get back to what I was. I do a lot of cardio each day, along with pilates, yoga and other toning exersizes, and a zillion types of ab exersizes. I use different dvd's and programs to try to keep my workout fresh. I eat healthy throughout each day and have cut-down my deserts from 7 nights a week to approx. 4 nights a week so I wont deprive myself all-together. what else can I be doing to target this area?
Lose inches fast to meet measurement requirements for the Navy...? My husband is joining the Navy and has been safely loosing weight and inches by watching what he eats and doing cardio everyday. He is almost there, but is having trouble with the last two inches around his waist. Does anyone have any effective suggestions to temporarly loose those last two inches so he can sign? I have been excersing and eating less than 2000 calories, and I still cannot lose weight.? I am hypothyroid also, taking vytorin for cholestrol and quit drinking diet pepsi( for over 4 weeks). Can you lose inches w/o losing lbs? I have been eating 6 small meals per day and doing aerobics and body sculpting with Gilad on Fit TV since Thanksgiving. Lose inches and pounds in 50 days? Help to lose 2 inches in 2 weeks? Ok, this is my dilema. I'm in a wedding, actually its my brothers wedding, and i'm the matron of honor. Its on the 8th of Sept. Well, i knew that i had gained some weight, but didn't know that i gained that much. I have been excersizing, but not with very much luck as of late anyway. I have massively cut down my eating, and excersize 2 times a day. I do a total a day of: 200 ab crunches. 200 leg lifts, 200 butt workouts, 200 love handle workouts. And my calorie intake is not very much. I have lost a total of 1 1/2 inches in 4 days. I have 1 1/2 inches left to go. Is there anything else that i could be doing to reach this goal? I need to lose 2-3 inches from my waist & butt? I've been working out for about 2 weeks now and eating right. I've lost about 1/4-1/2 an inch from my waist & butt too. I've been exercising every day (cardio) either bicycling for power walking for at least 45 minutes or more. I also do some pilates exercises for my waist, crunches, push ups, and other traditional stuff. My waist is currently at 26". How long will it take? Is there a faster way? By the way, I need to make my butt smaller. I know this sounds weird but it needs to be around 34". Any recommendations?

How to lose inches/weight fast, but without fasting? Hey, I'm 15. 5'6", and 142 lbs. I would love to be down to 130 by September 4th, if that is possible, then be down to 120 by Octobe 10th or so. I've already lost...four pounds in the last two days by cutting my calorie intake into about half. That isn't saying much though, since swim season jsut ended, and I've decided to take a month off from training with the team, which is what most people do. I was eating about 3,500 calories a day before this point. I already feel completely hungry, but am determined not to eat until dinner in about two hours. Any advice? Should I continue to drop my calorie intake until I reach about 1200 per day, or maybe even 1000? I won't be training for three hours a day like I used to, but I hope to get into the water about three hours a week. Should I also start jogging? I get evil shin splints, and my knee is all messed up though. What about a decent diet? I would love to be down below 130 by the time school starts, but I'm afraid I started too late....
Why do you lose inches without losing weight? My friend called me panicked yesterday and I didn't know what to tell her, so here is her problem: Since early September she has been working out a lot (30 min. on elliptical, 30 on recumbent bike) and eating healthier. Whats a good way to lose inches and weight without feeling deprived of food? It seem every diet I tried I feel deprived in some way, like from chocolate or all the foods I love to eat. Also I feel hungry all the time I drink 4 bottle of water every day and I still feel hungry. I try to exercise about after 5 to 10 mins I feel tired. Is there anything out there that might help me. wanting to lose a few inches on off my waist line and eat healthier.? I'm currently a full time college student. I've gained 30 pounds since fall of '07 and went from a size 9 to 13. I’m not trying to lose weight because my appearance concerns me but because I can't afford more pants and need to lose the weight so that I can breathe in them once again. I know my weight gain is due to inactiveness because of all the studying and the sweets that I eat to stay awake in class and gain some energy. Can anybody offer any ideas on how to lose 20 pounds at least? I’ve already quit the sweets and I’m trying to stop drinking soda and coffee. Are there exercises I could do that would target that area and are not too time consuming? Also what foods can I replace from sweets to help me stay focused and alert and please don't say chocolate. I can't really find fruits and vegetables because I go to college downtown and there arn't any fruit markets and they go bad within a few hours if I try to bring some with me. No fridge, no room. And kinda hard to cycle to school with a 20 lb bookbag and below zero weather.

Am I likely to lose weight or inches and get fit on this regime? I have been following a regime set down by a personal trainer for the last 8 weeks (10 week regime). It's the first time I've done anything like this, although I am a regular gym goer for the last 10 years. The regime is 3 times a week, 5 minute strenous warm up on a bike, 20 minutes high intensity on a stepper (increasing intensity up another level every 3 workouts); fast rowing - increasing distance by 100 metres every 3 workouts & attempting to beat previous speeds; various free weights - squats, dumbell rows etc at increasing weights and reps every 3 sessions. I have cut out processed foods and am veggie so don't eat much fat. I only needed to lose 8lbs but so far have lost no weight, fat or inches, and am tired all the time! I am not anaemic or diabetic. Have I been wasting my time? Should I do another 10 week programme? Thanks!
